A wing-mount ram air turbine was chosen as a backdrop for an interview of Defense Secretary Mark Esper by Christiane Amanpour. One turbine may be mounted on each wing. As shown in the photo, the turbine has four blades.

Description Defense Secretary Mark T. Esper interviews with CNN's Christiane Amanpour during a visit to Prince Sultan Air Base in Al Kharj, Saudi Arabia, Oct. 22, 2019. (DoD photo by U.S. Army Staff Sgt. Nicole Mejia) In the background is a ram air turbine carried under the wing of a Boeing EA-18G Growler aircraft, which is used by the Electronic Attack Squadron 134 (VAQ-134). The ram air turbine can supply power to the aircraft in an emergency.
