The Hillman Imp was a compact, rear-engined saloon car built from 1963-76 to compete with the Mini. There were many badge engineered variants sold all over the world. Available in Standard, Deluxe or Super and in Australia a GT version was developed there. In America, it was the Sunbeam Imp and in France, the Singer Chamois.
