The RS was an appearance package, it got hidden headlights, revised taillights with back-up lights under the rear bumper and exterior bright trim.
The SS performance package got the 350 or 396 V8, better suspension, special striping and non-functional air inlets on the hood. It was possible to order both the SS and RS options, making it a RS/SS.
The race ready Z28 performance package, with solid lifter 302 V8, 4 speed and disc brakes, it was designed to compete in the SCCA Trans Am Series, only 602 were made for 67
Engines; 140hp 230 and 155hp 250 6 cyls or 210 and 275hp 327 V8, 295hp 350 V8, 325 and 375hp 396 V8 and 290hp Z28 302 V8.
