Description
Deutsch: 03.05.2008 02625 Stiebitz (Bautzen), Neukircher Straße: Herrenhaus (GMP: 51.175712,14.394214) Hofseite. Obwohl sich im Stiebitz ein alter Herrensitz nachweisen läßt, hatte der Hof nie den Status eines Ritterguts. 1917 kaufte es William Busch. Der Kommerzienrat leitete die Bautzener Waggon- und Maschinenfabrik AG. Von 1917 bis 1922 hat er das alte Gutshaus zu einem größeren Herrenhaus ausgebaut. Im März 1954 wurde das Gut in der DDR Volkseigentum. 1990 wurde das rückgängig gemacht. Die Erben wollten aber nur das Land, nicht aber die sanierungsbedürftigen Bauten, die teilweise abgebrochen wurden. Das Herrenhaus, das zuletzt als Wohnhaus dient, steht seit dem Auszug der letzten Mieter leer und der Verfall ist weit fortgeschritten. 2007 wurde der Hof an die Klixer Recycling GmbH verkauft.
