Deutsch: Für Hilfe gegen den Terror der Gruppe Islamischer Staat (IS) demonstrierten am Samstag, den 17. August 2014 rund 11.000 Jesiden, Kurden, Aleviten und andere in Hannover. Die Kundgebung auf dem Waterlooplatz und der Demonstrationszug durch die Innenstadt der niedersächsischen Landeshauptstadt verlief nach Angaben der Deutschen Presse-Agentur und zahlreicher anderer Medien wie der Hannoverschen Allgemeinen Zeitung "äußerst friedlich".
