Summary[edit]

Description
English: My (Mac Cowell) Slide for SB5.0 "SynBioSlam" 5-min lighting talk event, 2011-Jun-14, updated w/ notes Jul 2017. Slide diagram's some very general thoughts on tools for design-build-test-cycle in synthetic biology, suggests that protocol reagent kits are a form of standardization, and concludes that affordable automation hardware & design documentation tools are the missing "glue" needed to tie all the component tools intended to enable the synbio R&D cycle together.
