Description

In 2011, Consorcio de Instituciones de Investigación Marina del Golfo de México y del Caribe (CiiMAR) began as a concept of how to bring marine science institutions in the Mexico region of the Gulf of Mexico together in a network that would benefit the members and important issues for Gulf of Mexico citizens. The Consortium is recognized as a high level, scientific authority organization committed to strengthening the sustainable development and integral well-being of the Gulf of Mexico and the Caribbean.
