  • Italiano: Conca di Viarenna a Milano. Lapide latina del 1497 con il testo di un decreto sforzesco che garantiva l'esenzione dal dazio alle imbarcazioni che recassero per via d'acqua dal Lago Maggiore i marmi con cui fu costruito il Duomo di Milano. La lapide è scolpita nel delicato marmo rosato di Candoglia, riservato in esclusiva al Duomo. Foto di Giovanni Dall'Orto, 24-7-2007.
  • English: The so-called Conca di Viarenna (Viarenna bassin) in Milan, Italy. A 1497 latin plaque bearing the text of a decree exempting from taxation all boats carrying from Lake Maggiore the marble to build the Cathedral.
