Original Image Name: Piciwiki_israel_88150_20220623_101550.jpg Notes: במזרח עין ורד ניצב מגדל מים, או בשמו המקומי "הבריכה של בירוביג'אן" או "הבריכה הגבוהה", שהוקם בין השנים 1934-1933 , מספר שנים לאחר שהוקמה הבריכה הראשונה במושב, כשהמטרה היא להגדיל את מלאי המים הנאגרים עבור ימי הקיץ החמים ועבור צרכים נוספים אחרים.הבריכה של בירוביג'אן הוצבה במקום הגבוה ביותר במושב בגובה של 82 מ' מעל פני הים ובכך יצרה את לחץ המים המקסימאלי עבור כל חלקי המושב הגבוהים. בנוסף היא נבנתה כמגדל בפרופורציה אנכית, בשונה מקודמתה וככזו הפכה לחשובה מבחינה אסטרטגית ושימשה לשמירה, תצפיות ולאיתות
