Summary[edit]

Description
English: An AH64 Apache helicopter in Afghanistan is dwarfed by the huge airframe of a C17 as Joint Movement Unit (JMU) and Army Air Corps (AAC) personnel prepare to load onto the transport for its return to the UK in July 2014.

The process is carried out slowly an carefully to ensure that the asset is delivered back to the UK in good condition. The Apache helicopters were crucial to the success of Operation Herrick and returned safely to the UK with British troops late in 2014.
