Description Apollo 17 Hasselblad image from film magazine 153/MM - Lunar orbit
Part of this photo was used in Figure 28-19 of the Apollo 17 Preliminary Science Report (SP-330, 1973), which has the following caption:
Oblique view looking westward from the dark mantling deposits on the western rim of Mare Serenitatis. Rimae Sulpicins Gallus are in the lower right corner. D-Caldera (circled) is near the upper left edge of the photograph.
"D-caldera" is now known as Ina.
