(1 in a multiple picture album) Look in the top center of the picture and you'll see the Colorado River which carved the Grand Canyon. It's still working away, a mile below. I often just look at all the layers and colors when I stand on the rim. A geologist would be able to name all the layers, but all I know is that there are more features to study than you can contemplate. Look across the canyon and try to accept that it is ten miles away. The Grand Canyon is so large it really goes beyond our ability to take it all in.
