That they’re broken, that they need to be fixed, that transgender people shouldn’t be teachers. And Betsy DeVos says she believes in equality and that’s all she’ll say. She won’t say if she’ll protect all students civil rights. And we have deep concerns about that. All the research shows that transgender students really suffer when they’re not respected, when they’re singled out.
