Title
Adis Ababa to Gezan in Sudan. Created by 'Capt. Taylor RA and [Capt.] Dunlop 1935' - War Office ledger. Route traverse. Bromides.
Description
Compass traverse plotted on to base mapping. Base maps are reproductions of WOMAT/AFR/ABY/40/1 sheets 11, 12, 13, 18 and 19 and portray hydrology, relief by form lines, hachures and spot heights, vegetation, railways, roads and tracks, telegraphs, settlements, significant buildings, place names and internal and international boundaries, and include topographical notes. Detail outside Abyssinia is minimal. Original survey by Captain W.H. Tapp R.E., 1918-19.Compass traverse added in manuscript and portrays amendments and additions to roads, tracks and place names, and includes topographical notes.
