Summary[edit]
DescriptionAfghan Border Police receive training on high-powered weapons DVIDS422281.jpg |
English: Military contractors from Xe International, who asked to remain anonymous, supervise an Afghan Border Police officer as he fires the NSV 12.7mm heavy machine gun. ABP officers received familiarization training on weapons such as the AK-47 assault rifle, PKM machine gun and the RPG-7 anti-tank rocket launcher. U.S. Army soldiers assigned to NATO Training Mission-Afghanistan partnered with military contractors from Xe International to mentor police officers at the ABP Border Center in Spin Boldak. The training mission is meant to strengthen the border police’s ability to combat insurgent activity along Afghanistan's borders. |
