English: This is an insurgent supply route in Zabul province, wired for detonation by Afghan national security forces, March 9. ANSF supported by coalition forces blocked the passage, to keep the insurgents from disrupting life in the valley. Locals said insurgents used the road to bring in supplies, beat locals and extorted money from them. |
