Description
English: A postcard of the Rosamond Woollen Mill in Almonte, Ontario, Canada. The mill was built in 1866 to manufacture fine tweeds. The textile mill was a functioning industrial complex until 1986. The complex now houses residential condominiums and the Mississippi Valley Textile Museum. The site was designated a National Historic Site of Canada in 1986.
