Deutsch: Gebhard Fugel (1863-1939): Bilder zur Apokalypse (1933)
Mit der Apokalypse hat sich Fugel immer wieder beschäftigt. Zwischen 1917 und 1933 schuf er Freskenentwürfe zur Apokalypse, die sich jetzt im Besitz des Klosters Scheyern befinden. Die hier gezeigten 25 Entwürfe zur Apokalypse stammen aus dem Jahr 1933. Sie sind einer Textausgabe der Apokalypse beigefügt und illustrieren die Apokalypse in einer textnahen und erzählerischen Weise. Quelle: Die Apokalypse oder die Offenbarung des hl.
