| Description |
English: Approaching Tyrley Wharf, Shropshire. The wharf is at the top of the five Tyrley Locks. The canal was completed by 1835 and the wharf buildings on the right are dated 1837, and 1840 (at this end). If you moor here for the night, and fancy a pint at the Four Alls pub (up Tyrley Road to the left) do be aware that closing time at night is sometimes very "conservative". |
