ne nun liegtein Venenstamm, der etwas über seine Mitte nach vorne hinaus amstärksten ist, vorne aber und hinten verschmälert ausgeht. In diesenStamm treten von beiden Seiten eine Menge Venenzweige, die teilsnur auf der Haut des Geschlechtsteiles sich hinziehen, hauptsächlichaber aus dem Innern (den eiertragenden Platten oder der Hoden-substanz) hervorkommen. Diesen Zweigen entgegengesetzt gehenandere, deren Zahl von 1 bis höchstens 8 hinaufsteigt, aus dem Stamm,heraus, bilden eimache Fäden, die im Ganzen einen nur sehr kurzenVerlauf nehmen und sich darauf gerade nach unten und innen wendend,in die Leber hineinbegeben. Die Venen des rechten Geschlechts-teiles dringen also in den rechten, die des linken in den linken Leber-lappen und begeben sich hier in den großen Venenstamm, der durchjeden Lappen nach dessen ganzer Länge verläuft, also in einer Ab-teilung der Pfortader.
