Summary[edit]

Description
English: This famous temple is located in Thiruchendur, Thoothukudi district of Tamil Nadu. Famous for being the only Murugan temple located near the sea. The deity is situated below the sea level and the intriguing fact is that the temple was unaffected by the 2004 tsunami which hit the Indian Ocean, despite its location near the sea.
