Español: TIERRA EN CUARTO MENGUANTE.
Ver "El Sueño o la Astronomía de la Luna". La Tierra se encuentra aproximadamente en un mismo punto del cielo (ver libración lunar) para un observador situado sobre la superficie lunar, en la “cara” visible desde la Tierra. Las fases terrestres son opuestas a las lunares tales como se las observa desde la Tierra: LUNA NUEVA – TIERRA LLENA LUNA CUARTO CRECIENTE – TIERRA C. MENGUANTE LUNA LLENA – TIERRA NUEVA LUNA CUARTO MENGUANTE – TIERRA C. CRECIENTE La Tierra se la ve girar de Este al Oeste. Un punto geográfico terrestre, por ejemplo una ciudad, dará una vuelta completa sobre un mismo punto de referencia en el disco terrestre cada 24 hs + el tiempo que le lleva a la Luna en recorrer en su órbita esas 24 horas (promedio otros 50 minutos). Como se expresó, la Tierra parecería no moverse en el cielo lunar, y es así ya que la Luna gira sobre sí misma en un período que es igual al período de traslación alrededor de la Tierra (Rotación Sincrónica), siendo de 27 días, 7 horas y 43 minutos (mes sidéreo), y es por ello que siempre muestra la misma cara hacia nosotros y para un lunático la Tierra siempre estará aproximadamente en un mismo punto del cielo lunar.
