The Atari 2600, a video game console released by Atari in 1977. Originally called the Atari Video Computer System, the system was the most popular gaming console of the late '70s and early '80s. This model is the "Heavy Sixer", which is the very first 2600 model that featured six front switches, and thick plastic & metal RF shielding.
