Notes Marie (1931, 353) gives the details concerning this edition. It seems that there were two editions of the 'Rencontres Parisiennes': the first one printed in Paris and published by Gihaut frères and the second one, was always printed in Paris but published by Gihaut frères in Paris and Ackermann in London. In this second edition, the English title was added beneath the French title. The spelling mistakes can be explained, according to Marie, by the fact that the edition was published in Paris. The present print is part of this second edition.
