    English: Distorted panoramic photo taken on a partly cloudy summer day in 2021 at Borgund Kyrkjestad in Lærdal Municipality, Vestland County, Norway:
    • Borgund Stave Church Visitors Centre, opened in 2005
    • Borgund Stave Church (Norwegian: Borgund stavkyrkje/stavkirke), a brown wooden church built in the stave church style around the year 1200, replaced by the "new" Borgund Church in 1868 and today a museum
    • Free-standing wooden bell tower, built in the mid-13th century, with a medieval bell
    • Borgund Church (Norwegian: Borgund kyrkje/kirke), a parish church of the Church of Norway, a red wooden long church built in the dragon style in 1868 to replace the ancient Borgund Stave Church, located right next to it
    • Surroundings landscape with mountains, stone fence, cemetery (grave yard), log outbuilding, etc.

Kirken er den best bevarte norske stavkirken fra middelalderen og ble museumskirke og turistmål da den «nye» Borgund kirke ble innviet i 1868. Stavkirken eies av Fortidsminneforeningen. Kirkegården (gravlunden) er fortsatt i bruk.
    • Frittstående, stavbygd klokketårn (støpul) fra midten av 1200-tallet, med middelalderklokke, i dag delvis tildekket.
    • Borgund kyrkje/kirke (Borgund nye kyrkje/kirke), en rødmalt langkirke i tre, tegnet av arkitekten Christian Christie, inspirert av stavkirkene, og innviet som sognekirke i 1868 som erstatning for den gamle stavkirken like ved.
