Description
English: U.S. Navy Fire Controlman 3rd Class Hunter Scholl mans a .50-caliber machine gun aboard the guided-missile destroyer USS Jason Dunham (DDG 109) in the Bab Al-Mandeb Strait, between Djibouti and Yemen, Oct. 7, 2018. The Dunham is deployed to the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations in support of naval operations to ensure maritime stability and security in the Central Region, connecting the Mediterranean and the Pacific through the western Indian Ocean and three strategic choke points.
