Baksidan av hängvas. Imiterande Ding-porslin.
Nyckelord: Föremålsbild, Vas
Description
Wall-vase.Moulded porcelain wall vase copying Song dynasty Ding ware18th century Ceramics made using this type of cream-coloured body are sometimes called ”Chinese softpaste”, but this is a mis-nomer. In fact it is porcelain with a high proportion of kaolin (china clay), and its cream colour (rather than pure white) is deliberate, for the purposes of imitating Ding ware. The flat-backed shape was made for suspension on the wall of a room, or while travelling in a sedan chair.
