Description

St. Muredach's Cathedral, Ballina, County Mayo, Ireland

English: Two major rows of the four-light stained glass window behind the main altar in the east, depicting in the upper row the four saints Laurence O'Toole, Patrick, Bridget, Kevin, and in the lower row the four saints Muredach, Dympna, Asicus, and Columbkill. The window was erected in memory of bishop Thomas Feeny who died in 1873 and who bequeathed the sum of £ 200 for it. Created by Mayer & Co., Munich. (See The Cathedrals of Ireland, ISBN 0-85389-452-3, p. 25.)
