Description
Français : Barque génoise en calme, remorquée par la chaloupe. « Ces bâtiments ont à peu près les mêmes façons que les pinques. La mâture se compose de deux mâts à pible et d’un mât d’artimon, portant un petit mât de hune, un hunier et une voile latine enverguée sur son antenne. Les autres voiles sont carrées. Il y a de ces bâtiments d’une marche supérieure ; ils servent à la course, et portent jusqu’à 22 pièces de canon » (Jean-Jérôme Baugean). Gravure publiée en 1826 dans la Collection de toutes les espèces de bâtiments de guerre et de bâtiments marchands qui naviguent sur l'Océan et dans la Méditerranée, dessinée d'après nature et gravée par Baugean, mais réalisée avant 1819 (date de la mort de l'auteur).
