St George's Church, Belfast, County Antrim, Northern Ireland


English: Detail in the lower right corner of a stained glass window in the north wall of the nave, created by Clokey & Co., Belfast, and installed in 1935. (See Brian M. Walker, A History of St George's Church Belfast, p. 116.) The coat of arms is that of Sir Robert Hugh Hanley Baird. Blazon: Per chevron ermine and gules, in base a boar passant or, on a chief azure a star of six points argent, between two griffins’ heads erased proper. Mantling gules and argent. Crest: On a wreath of the colours, a griffin’s head erased proper, langued argent. Motto: “Dominus fecit.” (See Arthur Charles Fox-Davies, Armorial families: a directory of gentlemen of coat-armour, p. 78.)
