der Straße des 17. Juni. Die im Krieg zerstörten und 1970 endgültig abgebrochenen 22 Meter hohen Bogenlichtkandelaber wurden rekonstruiert und 2010 fertiggestellt. ---

Das Charlottenburger Tor markierte die Grenze zwischen den Städten Berlin und Charlottenburg. Charlottenburg war die reichste Stadt in Preussen. Es bildet das Pendant zum Brandenburger Tor am anderen Ende des Tiergartens.
