Summary[edit]
DescriptionBerlin - Olympic Stadium in Snowstorm.jpg |
English: The Olymjpic Stadium in Berlin, built for the 1936 Olympics. The line around the middle of the seats is ground level. When you enter, you walk up or down. The stadium has been much changed by reconstruction in 2000-2004. It is now all seats, which reduced the capacity, and the spectator area is covered by a roof.
I had planned to go to a soccer game on the day of my arrival in Berlin, which was a Saturday. My flight was delayed by an air controllers slowdown, and anyway there was a snowstorm overnight, and the game was postponed. |
