Summary[edit]
DescriptionBlack Hill summit - geograph.org.uk - 25973.jpg |
English: Black Hill summit. The summit of Black Hill in the Pennines, near Holmfirth, is one of the bleakest places I know. When not covered in snow the hill is one huge peat bog. The pavement is a recent addition. Prior to this, the use of a compass was essential on foggy days to find the top. |
