| Description |
English: In 1856 this road was the Eugene to Booneville Territorial Hwy, and by 1917 the road was designated "Pacific Highway" and stretched between Portland and Eugene. This section within Eugene city limits became known as Blair Street, later Blair Boulevard, and was named for Pryor Blair, a Donation Land Claim owner whose farm was accessed near West Second Avenue and Blair Boulevard directly north of the Eugene Blair Boulevard Historic Commercial Area. Ironically, Blair Boulevard is located on property donated by Eugene Skinner. |
