Satire on the fear of French invasion, 1794-1805. (British political cartoon); Napoleon and his soldiers land on the English shore. The general, his sword drawn, is attacked by bees from six hives, representing the City of London, the counties, Scotland and Wales, which rest upon a board labelled 'English constitution'.
