Summary[edit]
DescriptionBog and rocks - geograph.org.uk - 1435516.jpg |
English: Bog and rocks Powerful ice-streams moving out of the high ground have reduced the terrain of the granite outcrop to a very low level, with smooth rock outcrop and shallow lochs. In the distance, the Maumturk Mountains demonstrate that they are also part of an earlier plain that has been cut down by the more recent ice ages. Nearly all of the main peaks are very similar in height. |
