| Description |
English: Bournemouth: Beacon House An intriguing art-deco office block in Christchurch Road. In the mid-1990s, there was a bit of a hoo-ha when it was proposed to replace the old metal windows of Beacon House with their curved glass to match the face of the walls at the corners with new uPVC double glazing which did not match the curved surface but was angled at intervals. Nevertheless, the work went ahead. |
