Slovenčina: Busta Štefana Moysesa na Daliborovom námestí v Petržalke. Moyses Štefan (1797 – 1869) cirkevný hodnostár, verejný činiteľ. V rokoch 1830 – 47 profesor filozofie na kráľovskej akadémii v Záhrebe, 1857 – 50 záhrebský kanonik, od 1851 banskobystrický biskup. Po 1851 sa zaslúžil o rozvoj slovenského školstva, od 1861 ako vedúci slovenskej deputácie odovzdal panovníkovi Memorandum národa slovenského a návrh Privilégia na uskutočnenie rovnoprávnosti slovenského národa v Uhorsku. Vedúca osobnosť slovenského národa v matičnom období, prvý predseda Matice slovenskej. |
