For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Sachsendorf-Werder, Erntearbeiten Zentralbild Klein Blitzbau in Sachsendorf-Werder im Oderbruch. Um die durch Krieg und Überschwemmung hervorgerufene Wohnungsnot zu beseitigen und allen Umsiedlern und Neubauern ein menschenwürdiges Heim zu schaffen, wird im Oderbruch seit einigen Wochen die Blitzmethode angewandt. In Sachsendorf-Werder arbeitet die Blitzbaubrigade der KWU (Kommunalwirtschiunternehmen) Kreis Seelow, sie braucht durchschnittlich 36 Stunden für eine richtfertigen Kernbau. UBz: Hier werden neben einem fertigen Hause die Erntearbeiten verrichtet.
