For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Bad Freienwalde, Haus der Naturpflege, Schülergruppe ADN-ZB Müller-11.8.87 Bez. Frankfurt-Oder: Ferien- Im Haus der Naturpflege in Bad Ferienwalde mit seinem großen Garten werden zur Zeit vor allem Ferienkinder mit Problemen des Naturschutzes und des naturschonenden Gartenbaus bekanntgemacht. Die Pädagogen Helga (im Foto rechts) und Erich Granitzki, Leiter des Hauses, übernehmen diese Aufgabe. Der Garten wurde vor mehr als 25 Jahren von Kurt Kretschmann, dem Schöpfer des Naturschutzsymbols der DDR, angelegt und seither ständig erweitert. (siehe 15 N)
