For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme. ADN-ZB Zimmermann 11.11.87 Berlin: Marzahner Ansichten Die Marzahner Promenade wird nach ihrer Fertigstellung gesellschaftlicher Mittelpunkt des Stadtbezirkes sein. Über 50 Geschäfte entstehen vor allem in den Erdgeschossen der Wohnhäuser. Auch Dienstleistungs- und Kultureinrichtungen fanden und finden hier ihren Platz. Charakteristisch für die rund zwei Kilometer lange Straße sind abgeschrägte Ecken, Kolonaden an den Häusern sowie helle und bunte Fassaden. |

Deutsch: Blick über den Fußgängerbereich 'Marzahner Promenade', oberhalb der Franz-Stenzer-Straße. Fotostandpunkt müsste der Platz auf Höhe der Nr 30 (Einkaufscenter, damals wohl Klubgaststätte) sein. Das Foto wurde aller Warscheinlichkeit nach, mit einer höheren Brennweite aufgenommen, da das gesammte Bild in der Tiefe stark zusammengestaucht ist. Zu sehen sind alle drei Gebäuderiegel auf der Strecke von dort bis zum Platz am Freizeitforum, so als wären es jeweils nur wenige Schritte bis zum Nächsten. Das Doppelhochhaus mehr nach links, ist die Raoul-Wallenberg-Straße 40 und 42. Das sich rechts etwas versteckende müsste die Marzahner Promenade 44 sein. Bei den Gebäuden links, an denen noch gebaut wird, scheint es sich um die Aufgänge Nr. 47 und 49 der Franz-Stenzer-Straße zu handeln. Eventuell aber auch eines Teils des Freizeitforums, obwohl dieses wohl erst ab 1988 gebaut wurde. |
