Der 84-er Olympiasieger Jens Weißflog (SC Traktor) kam in seiner Heimatstadt überzeugend zum Meistertitel auf der Normalschanze. Die Kampfrichter zogen erstmals in dieser Saison dreimal die Note 19,5.
