Mit einer außerordentlichen Plenartagung ehrten Abgeordnete der obersten Volksvertretung der DDR die über 50 Millionen Opfer der faschistischen Barbarei. An der Veranstaltung nahm eine Staatsdelegation der VRP unter der Leitung von Jozef Czyrek, Staatsminister im Amt des Präsidenten, teil.
