For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Kruge, Blick in das Kulturhaus Zentralbild Klein 16.5.1955 Im neuen Kulturhaus der MTS des Friedens in Kruge. Zum Mittelpunkt des kulturellen Lebens der Landbevölkerung wurde das am 3.10.1953 eingeweihte neue Kulturhaus der MTS des Friedens in Kruge, einem Neubauerndorf in der hügeligen Landschaft des Oberen Barnim, Kreis Bad Freienwalde. In diesem Kulturhaus vereinen sich nach des Arbeit die Kollegen der MTS, die Genossenschaftsbauern und werktätigen Einzelbauern, um Vorträge zu hören, in den verschiedensten Zirkeln zu arbeiten, oder auch, um gesellig beisammen zu sein. UBz: Eine Schachpartie im gemütlichen Klubram (l). Der werktätige Einzelbauer Migge und (rechts) Kollege Mehding von der MTS Kruge.
