VEB Schiffswerft Rosslau Grösste Binnenwerft Deutschlands. Die Rosslauer Schiffbauer haben nach 1945 mit dem Wiederaufbau ihrer zerstörten Werft begonnen. Heute ist die Schiffswerft Rosslau als grösste Binnenwerft Deutschlands eine der grössten Europas. Rund 300 Schiffe verliessen bisher die Werft. Exportkunden sind hauptsächlich die Sowjetunion, Polen, Rumänien, Bulgarien und Westdeutschland.
