Friedrich Karl Kaul

Zentralbild Ben/Schä Professor Dr. Friedrich Karl Kaul, Jurist, geb: 21.2.1906 in Posen; 1935 wurde Kaul in das Konzentrationslager Lichtenberg, später nach Dachau eingeliefert. 1937 wurde er unter der Bedingung entlassen, daß er nach Übersee ginge. 1946 kehrte er nach Berlin zurück. Seit dieser Zeit wirkt er als Justitiar beim demokratischen Rundfunk und seit 1948 als Rechtsanwalt. Kaul ist besonders als Verteidiger deutscher Patrioten vor den westdeutschen Gerichten bekannt geworden. Daneben ist er auch als Schriftsteller, Fernsehspiel- und Hörspielautor tätig. Für die "Pitaval"-Sendereihe erhielt er zusammen mit W. Jupé den Nationalpreis 1960; Vaterländischer Verdienstorden 1956. UBz: eine Aufnahme vom 29.11.1960
