For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme. ADN-ZB-Gahlbeck-16.10.1961-Karl-MarxStadt: 42 Brigaden des VEB Großdrehmaschinenbau "8. Mai" im Produktionsaufgebot. Die Brigade "Fortschritt" hat sich verpflichtet, 20 Prozent Material und Hilfsmittel einzusparen, sowie die Ausschuß- und Nachabeitungskosten um 25 Prozent zu senken. Sie beriet, welche Kollegen die Reihen der NVA und der Kampfgruppe stärken können. Außerdem verpflichteten sie sich, die Arbeit ihrer Kollektivmitglieder, die zur Zeit Angehörige der NVA sind, mit zu übernehmen. Peter Seyferth (l.), der seine Bereitschaft zum Dienst in den bewaffneten Organen erklärt hat, im Gespräch mit Meister Heinz Lindner und dem Brigadier und Gewerkschftsvertrauensmann Otto Lieberwirth." |
