For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme. Zentralbild Tre-Kt. 7.12.1962 Beste Sportler des Jahres geehrt. Die besten DDR-Sportler des Jahres 1962, die aus der traditionellen Leserumfrage der "Jungen Welt" als Sieger hervorgingen, wurden am 6.12.1962 während einer Veranstaltung der Sektion Sportjournalisten des Verbandes Deutscher Journalisten im Berliner Presseclub feierlich geehrt. Die zweifache Euopameisterin Ingrid Krämer bei den Frauen, der Weltmeiser im Spezialsprung-Lauf Helmut Recknagel bei den Männern und die Frauenweltrekord- und Europameisterstaffel im Viermal-Hundert-Meter Lagenschwimmen bei den Mannschaften waren von den Lesern des Zentralorgans der Freien Deutschen Jugend zu den Siegern auserkoren worden. UBz.: Ingrid Krämer nimmt den Pokal des DEFA-Augenzeugen, überreicht vom Sportredakteur Sobischewski entgegen. |
