Motorrad-Rennsport:
15 Staaten auf dem Schleizer-Dreieck
Zum 30. Male donnerten am 14.7. auf dem Schleizer-Dreieck die Motoren. Die älteste Rennstrecke Deutschlands sah an diesem Tag Fahrer aus 15 Ländern am Ablauf und hatte damit ein Rekordergebnis zu verzeichnen. Gleichzeitig stellte das Rennen einen Höhepunkt in der Vorbereitung des in drei Wochen in Leipzig stattfindenden IV. Deutschen Turn- und Sportfestes dar.

UBz.: Helga Steudel (MZ Zwickau) belegte als einzige weibliche Fahrerin des Rennens in der Klasse 125 ccm - Ausweis einen hervorragenden 2. Platz.
