For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Zentralbild Spremberg 19.12.68 Berlin: Preisträger im Kinder- und Jugendbuch-Wettbewerb ausgezeichnet
Hans Weber (rechts) und Dieter Schubert erhielten neben 21 anderen Schriftstellern und Illustratoren Auszeichnungen beim 17. Preisausschreiben des Ministeriums für Kultur zur Förderung der sozialistischen Kinder- und Jugendliteratur. Die Preise wurden am 19.12.68 auf einer Feierstunde Iim Hause der Deutschen Staatsoper vergeben. Weber erhielt den höchstdotierten Preis für sein Buch "Sprung ins Riesenrad" und Schubert wurde eine lobende Anerkennung für den Roman "Acht Unzen Träume" ausgesprochen, für den er bereits den Hans-Marchwitza-Preis erhalten hat.
